Job summary

General Motors seeks a Lead System Integration Engineer – Enterprise Transformation to design, build, and scale enterprise integrations and data pipelines that modernize how GM systems work together. You will connect Google Workspace, SaaS platforms, and core GM systems through secure, reusable patterns, guiding transformation teams with scalable accelerators.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in integration engineering within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong systems-thinking capability mapping dependencies across apps, data, identity, and processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust, observable integrations using APIs, webhooks, and middleware.
• Define data mappings, transformation logic, exception handling, and monitoring for reliability.
• Modernize legacy workflows into scalable Google-aligned integration patterns.
• Connect Google Workspace with GM platforms, including identity services and AI tools.
• Support end-to-end workflows and operational continuity across enterprise systems.
