Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Lead System Integration Engineer to design and scale enterprise integrations and data pipelines across GM systems. You will connect Google Workspace, SaaS platforms, and enterprise AI tools with core business systems, delivering secure, reusable integration patterns.

You will collaborate with product management, security, and TPMs to enable reliable data flow and platform interoperability while contributing reusable patterns for enterprise-wide adoption.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in integration engineering or enterprise application integration.
• Experience mapping dependencies across applications, data layers, identity services, and business processes.
• Strong production-level proficiency in Python and automation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Define strategic architecture and alignment with data standards and security policies.
• Design, build, and maintain robust integrations using APIs, containers, and ETL logic.
• Modernize workflows and connect Google Workspace with GM platforms.
• Design coexistence models for phased migrations between Microsoft and Google environments.
• Provide technical leadership and create runbooks for sustainment and hypercare.
