Job summary

General Motors seeks a Senior System Integration Engineer to design, build, and scale enterprise integrations and data pipelines. You will connect Google Workspace, SaaS apps, AI tools, and GM core systems with scalable patterns.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in integration engineering, platform architecture, or enterprise software in large companies.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud integration products including Apigee, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions.
• Proven ability to map SaaS dependencies, data layers, identity services, and business processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• Deep knowledge integrating GCP with Workday and ServiceNow via REST/SOAP APIs.
• Strong Python and scripting abilities; experience with CI/CD and debugging in hybrid environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale enterprise integrations and data pipelines across GM systems.
• Create reusable GCP-native integration templates, accelerators, and reference implementations.
• Ensure security and data standards, identity guidelines, and guardrails across platforms.
• Collaborate with Security, Privacy, ILM teams to secure workflows handling sensitive data.
• Define data mappings, transformation logic, error handling, and monitoring for reliability.
• Modernize legacy interfaces into scalable, event-driven Google-aligned patterns.
• Develop end-to-end workflows orchestrating data movement across HR, IT, and enterprise apps.
• Provide technical leadership through design reviews and architecture guidance.
