Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Lead AI Workflow Engineer – Enterprise Transformation in a hybrid role. You will design, build, and scale AI-enabled workflow solutions across GM’s enterprise platforms and Google Workspace environments, transforming manual processes into secure, scalable automations.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, security, and business teams to deliver reusable patterns and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and governance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in workflow/automation engineering or related field in a large enterprise.
• Proven track record modernizing workflows into API-driven, event-based solutions.
• Experience supporting enterprise platform change, migration, or transformation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and support AI-enabled workflow solutions across collaboration platforms and enterprise systems.
• Develop backend services, scripts, and orchestration using Python/JavaScript (Node.js/TypeScript).
• Integrate workflows with ITSM, HR, CRM, and internal API ecosystems.
• Translate manual processes into scalable, reusable automation designs.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand pain points and drive modernization.
