Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead end-to-end planning and execution of large enterprise data projects in the United States. You will coordinate dependencies across teams, establish Agile governance, and own program-level tracking in JIRA with dashboards and portfolio views.

The role requires 7+ years of PM experience, strong Agile knowledge, JIRA expertise, and excellent stakeholder management. US work authorization and visa sponsorship-free status are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 7+ years of program/project management experience.
• Equivalent experience alternative: 11+ years of program/project management experience, including large-scale, multi-team, or enterprise-level initiatives
• Hands-on knowledge of Agile project management methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, or similar
• Experience running Agile ceremonies and coaching teams
• Extensive hands-on experience with JIRA, including administration, custom workflows, dashboards, advanced JQL, and portfolio/program-level views such as Advanced Roadmaps
• Demonstrated success managing large, complex projects or programs with multiple dependencies, stakeholders, and delivery teams
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future
• PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent certification preferred
• Insurance industry experience preferred, with P&C familiarity preferred
• Experience within data management, data platform, or technology modernization programs preferred
• Familiarity with Confluence, Power BI, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of large, cross-functional enterprise data projects
• Coordinate dependencies across multiple teams and workstreams
• Establish and maintain Agile program governance, including sprint cadences, backlog health, release planning, PI planning, scrum-of-scrums, and retrospectives
• Own program-level tracking and reporting in JIRA, including custom dashboards, epic/initiative hierarchies, cross-team boards, and portfolio-level views
• Partner with engineering, data, product, and business stakeholders to define scope, timelines, resourcing, and success criteria
• Identify, track, and proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies across concurrent programs
• Escalate risks and issues appropriately
• Drive consistent status reporting and executive-level communication
• Translate technical progress into business impact
• Facilitate change management and organizational alignment across teams
• Continuously improve program management processes, tooling, and reporting standards
• Perform other duties as needed
