Job summary

GDH is seeking a senior data modeling professional in the United States to lead enterprise domain modeling and establish canonical data structures that support APIs, integrations, and cloud platforms.

You will guide Snowflake-based designs, enforce modeling standards, mentor junior modelers, and collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and API teams to ensure consistent model representations across contracts and payloads in a hybrid onsite/remote environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data modeling or enterprise data architecture.
• Experience delivering enterprise and domain data models in complex environments.
• Experience with canonical data models for APIs and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise domain modeling by defining core entities, relationships, and semantics.
• Develop and govern canonical data models for APIs and integration patterns.
• Collaborate with EA and API teams to align models in API contracts.
• Translate business requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical models.
• Guide cloud data modeling in Snowflake with standards for scalability.
• Establish and enforce modeling standards and documentation.
• Facilitate cross-functional sessions to resolve semantic differences.
• Mentor junior modelers through reviews and coaching.
• Manage model lifecycle: versioning, impact analysis, evolution.
• Communicate modeling concepts to business leaders and engineers.
