Job summary

Experis is seeking a Data Modeler in Charlotte (Hybrid) to design scalable data models supporting reporting and analytics. You will collaborate with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and Data Quality teams to translate business requirements into robust data structures, including fact/dimension tables and star schemas.

The ideal candidate brings strong SQL and data warehousing knowledge, hands-on experience with Snowflake and modern cloud environments, and a consultative mindset to engage both

Qualifications

• Strong data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
• Knowledge of fact tables, dimension tables, star schemas, and SCDs.
• Strong SQL skills to understand data structures, relationships, and joins.
• Experience with Snowflake and cloud-based data environments.
• Data profiling and data quality analysis experience.
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Consultative mindset with strong problem-solving and facilitation skills.
• Experience with DBT, Python, AI/LLM tools, ERP systems or related business domains is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable enterprise data models to support reporting, analytics, and business decision-making.
• Partner with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and Data Quality teams to translate requirements into effective data structures.
• Define and refine fact tables, dimension tables, star schemas, and other dimensional modeling solutions.
• Perform data profiling and analyze source data to understand relationships, data quality concerns, and context.
• Facilitate discussions between technical and business teams to drive clarity and improve data design outcomes.
