Job summary

EY seeks a Data Modeler - Manager to design and deliver scalable data models for analytics, governance, and AI use cases. Located in New York, you will translate business requirements into conceptual, logical, and physical models across Snowflake, Azure, and Databricks, and collaborate with data engineers on ETL/ELT mappings and lineage.

You will drive data quality, metadata management, and documentation while aligning with enterprise architecture and data standards in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in data modeling / data architecture.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks).
• Proficiency in SQL and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with data modeling tools (ERwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner).

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models across platforms.
• Design dimensional and normalized models based on use case.
• Translate business requirements into entities, attributes, relationships, and rules.
• Partner with data engineers to define ETL/ELT mappings, transformations, and lineage.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, data standards, and governance policies.
• Drive data quality, metadata management and documentation.
• Optimize models for performance, scalability and cost.
• Maintain data dictionaries, lineage and design documentation.
