Rox, a pioneering AI-enabled revenue platform, seeks a Senior Commercial Counsel in San Francisco. You’ll own commercial contracting end to end, shape data privacy and AI governance, and partner with product, engineering, and outside counsel on high‑impact agreements.

You’ll lead privacy programs, negotiate DPAs, MSAs, and vendor contracts, and define what the product enforces by design while ensuring compliance across GDPR/CCPA/US state laws.

Formación

• US-licensed attorney with active bar admission (CA preferred).
• 4–8 years of legal practice in B2B SaaS or enterprise software, including in-house experience.
• Experience negotiating MSAs, DPAs, and security addenda with Fortune 500/Global 2000 teams.
• Strong data privacy knowledge (CCPA/CPRA, GDPR/UK GDPR) and AI regulation understanding.

Responsabilidades

• Own commercial contracting end to end: MSAs, order forms, SOWs, DPAs, security addenda, NDAs and pilot agreements from first draft through signature.
• Build templates, playbooks and fallback positions to streamline deals for Sales and Growth.
• Set and defend Rox’s data privacy positions across GDPR/UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and APAC regimes; manage cross-border transfers and DPIAs.
• Own communications compliance for outbound seller activity: CAN-SPAM, TCPA, CASL, ePrivacy and PECR, and related laws.
• Oversee AI governance: EU AI Act, US state AI laws, model provider terms; coordinate with outside counsel on unsettled questions.
• Coordinate with product and engineering to shape features before launch; ensure contracts and privacy disclosures align with product design.
• Negotiate inbound agreements with data, inference, telephony and Cloud vendors; structure partner and cloud marketplace agreements.
