Edward Jones is seeking an Enterprise Communications Specialist, Community Communications, to lead strategic communications across financial education and community impact programs. You will work in a highly matrixed environment and partner with cross-functional teams to maximize program reach and effectiveness.

The role emphasizes external and internal communications, events, and KPI-driven campaigns aligned with Edward Jones' 2030 strategy.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of external and internal communications experience, with a background in corporate communications, public relations, community affairs, or related roles.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant certification preferred.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft clear, compelling, and audience-appropriate content across formats.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to delegate effectively and align the right capabilities to deliver in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
• Proven track record of delivering results and communicating effectively across teams.
• Ability to establish and optimize project workflows, processes, and budgets.
• Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate, influence, and drive alignment across teams.
• Effective at engaging external stakeholders and influencers to build awareness and advance strategic narratives.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams), supporting high-quality content development, data analysis, and cross-team collaboration.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support execution of communications strategies for financial education programs.
• Cultivate relationships with local and national media, influencers, non-profits, and partners.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to amplify programs across internal stakeholder groups.
• Oversee events and logistics to raise awareness and firm influence.
• Lead communications strategy and implementation for local and national programs with tight deadlines.
• Develop clear KPIs and benchmarks to measure program value.
