Job summary

Edward Jones seeks an Enterprise Communications Specialist, Community Communications, to lead communications strategy and execution across financial education and community impact programs. You will guide enterprise-level communications while strengthening local and national initiatives, partnering with internal teams to amplify results.

The role requires experience in complex environments, strong writing and project management, and collaboration across external affairs and enterprise functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant certification preferred.
• 7+ years of external and internal communications experience in corporate/public relations or related roles.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills for multiple formats.
• Strong project management with ability to lead in a matrixed environment.
• Proven ability to deliver results and influence across teams.
• Ability to establish and optimize workflows, processes and budgets.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support execution of communications strategies across Financial Education and 2030 initiatives.
• Engage external stakeholders including media, influencers, nonprofits, and community leaders.
• Collaborate with internal peers and leaders to amplify program impact.
• Oversee development and logistics of events to raise awareness and influence.
• Manage projects from strategy to tactical implementation within deadlines and budgets.
• Define KPIs and benchmarks to measure program value over time.
