Job summary

Amazon in Chicago, IL is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect for Enterprise Industries to design end-to-end cloud solutions for large enterprise customers, translating business challenges into scalable architectures.

You will lead customer engagements, influence product and engineering teams, and travel regionally ~15–20% as needed.

This role requires 10+ years IT development/implementation and deep AWS experience, with strong communication to senior leaders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
• 8+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 8+ years of technology domain experience including software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect end-to-end cloud solutions for complex customer requirements, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-optimization.
• Build and maintain relationships with customer senior leaders to influence strategic direction and achieve long-term business outcomes.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and business audiences, creating reusable technical content and building consensus.
