Job summary

Kimball Midwest in Columbus, OH is seeking an Enterprise Architecture Manager to lead a team of IT Architects and drive the company’s technology strategy. You will shape multi-year roadmaps, governance, and reference architectures, partnering with business and technology leaders to modernize platforms and enable long‑term growth.

You will guide architecture decisions, influence investments, and work with executives to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of information technology experience with senior leadership exposure.
• 5+ years in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, or related leadership roles.
• Experience guiding technology strategy, roadmaps, standards, and governance.
• Strong communication and leadership skills across business and IT.
• Ability to influence strategic decisions at multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, develop, and retain a high-performing team of IT Architects.
• Set goals aligned to technology roadmaps and corporate objectives.
• Own and advance architecture practice including standards, governance, and roadmaps.
• Maintain North Star Architecture to support long-term strategy.
• Lead Architecture Review Board and enterprise decision-making.
• Collaborate with leaders to define future-state capabilities and multi-year roadmaps.
• Review solution architectures, platform choices, and integration strategies.
• Drive architecture maturity, standardization, and reuse across the enterprise.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and modernization opportunities.
• Oversee portfolio planning across Invest, Maintain, Transform, and Retire.
