Job summary

TriCom Technical Services is seeking a Manager of Software Architecture to lead the organization's enterprise architecture strategy and guide scalable technology solutions aligned with business goals.

You will partner with business leaders, development teams, and vendors to drive innovation, establish standards, and mentor a team of senior architects in a dynamic, project-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software development, enterprise architecture, or technology leadership.
• 5+ years of experience leading architects, technical teams, or enterprise technology initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy, roadmap, and technology standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of software architects, supporting career development and technical excellence.
• Partner with business leaders to identify technology solutions that improve business processes and operational efficiency.
• Translate business goals into scalable, sustainable technology strategies and solution designs.
• Establish architecture governance, design standards, and best practices across enterprise applications and integrations.
• Guide architectural decisions for Cloud platforms, ERP systems, custom applications, AI solutions, and enterprise integrations.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, AI, automation, and low-code platforms to drive business value and innovation.
• Collaborate with software vendors and implementation partners to evaluate solutions and align technology investments with business objectives.
• Conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments, and technology evaluations to ensure secure, maintainable, and scalable solutions.
• Promote collaboration between architecture, software development, innovation, and business teams to improve delivery and organizational effectiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software development, enterprise architecture, or technology leadership.
• 5+ years of experience leading architects, technical teams, or enterprise technology initiatives.
• Experience designing enterprise solutions across Cloud platforms, business applications, integrations, and data architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of software engineering principles, enterprise architecture frameworks, and solution design.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive strategic technology decisions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, leadership, and relationship management skills.

Preferred

• Experience with Microsoft technologies including Azure, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Microsoft Fabric, GitHub, Copilot Studio, or AI services.
• Experience implementing AI, automation, low-code, or advanced analytics solutions.
• Industry experience within construction, manufacturing, engineering, or other project-based environments.
• Enterprise architecture, Cloud, Agile, or project management certifications.
