Job summary

Cognizant seeks an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead architectures across data center, databases, storage, and disaster recovery. You will drive governance, standards, and roadmaps, collaborating with business leaders and vendors to align infrastructure with enterprise strategy.

Requires 15–20 years in enterprise infrastructure architecture, broad tech expertise, and strong leadership. Remote US role with competitive salary and annual incentive eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 15–20 years of progressive enterprise infra experience.
• Experience governing large-scale infra environments.
• Strong data center, storage, backup, and modernization experience.
• Proven ability to define architecture standards and roadmaps.
• Knowledge of security, compliance, risk and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Define current/transition/target-state architectures.
• Govern principles, standards, and technology roadmaps.
• Lead assessments for cloud adoption and modernization.
• Evaluate solutions considering scalability, security, cost, and operations.
• Ensure designs meet resilience, DR, continuity, and compliance requirements.
• Lead vendor evaluations and prototyping activities.
