Job summary

Cognizant seeks an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead design, governance, and modernization of enterprise infrastructure across data centers, storage, backup, and DR. The role partners with business leaders, engineering, security, and vendors to align architectures with business objectives.

The incumbent will define current, transition, and future-state architectures, advance standards, and drive strategic roadmaps while ensuring resilience and cost optimization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field; master's preferred.
  • 16–20 years of progressive experience in enterprise infrastructure architecture.
  • Experience designing and governing large-scale enterprise infrastructure environments.
  • Strong security, compliance, risk management, and disaster recovery knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain current-state, transition-state, and target-state architectures.
  • Govern standards, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps for data center, storage, backup, and DR.
  • Lead architecture assessments for cloud adoption, modernization, and migrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure architecture governance.
