Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the strategy, governance, and modernization of enterprise infrastructure across data center, database, storage, and backup platforms. You will define current-state, transition-state, and target-state architectures while aligning with business objectives and technology roadmaps.

This remote USA role offers up to $150K annually, plus Cognizant’s incentive program.

Qualifications

• 16 to 20 years of progressive experience in enterprise infrastructure architecture or related roles.
• Extensive experience designing and governing large-scale enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Strong understanding of data center technologies, databases, storage, backup and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain current/transition/target-state enterprise architectures aligned with business strategies.
• Develop and govern principles, standards, reference architectures, and roadmaps for data center, storage, backup, and DR.
• Lead assessments and reviews for infrastructure modernization, cloud adoption, and lifecycle management initiatives.
• Evaluate options and provide architectural recommendations for scalability, security, availability, and cost.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure architecture alignment throughout projects.
