Job summary

Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a hands-on Senior Enterprise Architect to lead end-to-end solution delivery for major retail platforms from Grand Rapids, MI. You will drive platform infrastructure, client engagement, and partner integrations while guiding governance and the entire architecture lifecycle.

The role combines deep architecture expertise with software development, AI-assisted tooling, and a focus on scalable, secure, and operationally excellent solutions.

Qualifications

• 8 years of professional software development experience with hands-on coding
• 5+ years designing cloud-native, microservices, or event-driven architectures
• Experience owning end-to-end solution delivery and post-release accountability
• Experience with partner integrations (payments, SaaS, loyalty) and API-first design
• Hands-on prototyping and reference implementations to validate architecture

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture across discovery, design, delivery, and operations
• Design and build platform infrastructure to support evolving product requirements
• Develop and maintain architectural artifacts (ADRs, interface contracts, data flows)
• Enforce architecture standards, integration patterns, and non-functional requirements
• Lead platform development and act as technical lead in client engagements
• Drive Discovery Track activities and translate outcomes into delivery backlogs
• Govern and review partner integrations across ecosystems
• Mentor engineers on AI-assisted development and architecture governance
• Contribute to platform strategy and reusable assets
