Job summary

AT&T seeks a Principal Enterprise Architect to define and lead the enterprise technology strategy and transformation roadmap across the organization. This senior role partners with executives and engineering teams to align business objectives with scalable, secure, and cost-effective technology solutions.

The candidate should have extensive experience in enterprise/solution architecture, cloud transformation, AI-enabled capabilities, and governance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of related experience.
• Experience with LeanIX or comparable enterprise architecture management tools.
• Extensive experience in enterprise/solution architecture or architecture leadership.
• Strong experience defining roadmaps, target-state architectures, modernization standards.
• Hands-on experience with AI-enabled solutions in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead enterprise architecture strategy, target-state architecture, and transformation roadmaps.
• Partner with executives and engineering teams to translate business drivers into architecture direction.
• Design high-level architectural blueprints across applications, data, infrastructure, cloud and AI.
• Guide technology selection and implementation while aligning with architecture standards.
• Establish governance, reusable patterns, standards and practices across value streams.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and determine business value opportunities.
• Provide architecture insights and risk assessments to support strategic investments.
• Mentor teams and guide problem solving on complex architecture challenges.
