Job summary

AT&T is seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect to define and lead enterprise technology strategy, target architecture, and transformation roadmaps across the organization. You will align business objectives with architecture standards and collaborate with executives, engineering, security, and operations to drive modernization and AI-enabled initiatives.

Required: 7+ years in enterprise/solution architecture, LeanIX experience, and strong executive communication.

Qualifications

7+ years of related experience.
Experience with LeanIX or comparable enterprise architecture management tools.
Extensive experience in enterprise/solution architecture, technology strategy, or architecture leadership.
Strong experience defining roadmaps, target-state architecture, and modernization standards.
Hands-on experience with AI-enabled solutions in enterprise environments.
Deep understanding of EA frameworks, governance, cloud transformation, and modernization.
Ability to align cross-functional teams to enterprise goals.
Strong executive communication skills to influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities

Define enterprise architecture strategy, target-state architecture, and roadmaps.
Collaborate with executives, product teams, security, and operations to translate business drivers into architecture direction.
Create high-level blueprints across applications, data, infrastructure, cloud, and AI-enabled solutions.
Guide technology selection, design, and implementation aligned to standards.
Promote architecture frameworks, governance, and reusable patterns across value streams.
Evaluate emerging technologies for measurable business value.
Provide architecture insight and modernization recommendations to leadership.
Mentor teams to solve complex architectural challenges.
