Job summary

Keesler Federal Credit Union is seeking an Enterprise Architect to sustain and advance architecture artifacts, standards, and governance across business, data, and application domains. You will work under the Principal Enterprise Architect to ensure documentation and decisions align with the enterprise blueprint and target-state models.

The role participates in the EARB and CAB, translating enterprise standards into guidance for engineering, development, and business teams, with emphasis on

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT experience with at least 3+ years in enterprise/solution architecture.
• Experience across multiple architecture domains with depth in data and application architecture.
• Experience in financial services or similarly regulated industry preferred.
• Participation in architecture governance processes (EARB, CAB) preferred.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred), API management, and data platforms.
• Familiarity with EA frameworks: BIAN, TOGAF, Zachman, and SABSA.
• Proficiency with architecture modeling tools and repository management (ArchiMate, LeanIX, Sparx EA).
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, microservices, API-led integration, and event-driven patterns.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and evolve enterprise architecture artifacts, models, and documentation.
• Align current-state, transition-state, and target-state docs with EA blueprint.
• Apply BIAN service domain models and EA frameworks to communicate architecture.
• Prepare EARB agendas, architecture review packages, and architecture decision records.
• Contribute to evolution of EA standards, patterns, and reference architectures.
• Mentor junior engineers and technical staff in applying EA principles.
• Represent the EA practice in governance forums and cross-functional engagements.
