Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a seasoned Enterprise Architect to define the target-state architecture for enterprise systems across manufacturing, supply chain, master data, asset management, and finance. You will establish the Architecture and Governance function, publish standards, and drive reusable patterns.

You will lead architecture reviews and ensure scalable, governed integrations with SAP, Oracle ERP, and related platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
12+ years of experience in enterprise systems, ERP, or platform architecture.
7+ years in senior architecture, principal engineer, or equivalent leadership roles.
Experience defining target-state architecture for large-scale platforms.
Experience designing and governing integration patterns using APIs, middleware, event-based, and batch approaches.
Experience building architecture governance mechanisms such as review boards, standards, design authorities, or exception processes.
Experience across multiple enterprise domains such as manufacturing, supply chain, finance, master data, asset management, or operations.
Experience scaling enterprise platforms across multiple sites, product lines, or operating models.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical leaders.

Responsibilities

Define the target-state architecture for enterprise systems supporting manufacturing, supply chain, master data, asset management, and finance.
Help build and institutionalize the Architecture and Governance function for Enterprise Systems.
Develop and implement enterprise application integration standards across APIs, middleware, event-based patterns, and batch interfaces.
Publish architecture playbooks, reference patterns, and reusable standards.
Maintain architecture decision records and decision logs for traceability.
Lead architecture reviews for major initiatives, integrations, plant onboarding, and platform changes.
Define system boundaries, capability ownership, master data ownership, and canonical integration patterns.
Architect reliable upstream integrations from PLM, procurement, vendor, engineering, and internal systems into SAP and related enterprise systems.
Architect reliable downstream integrations into Oracle ERP, enterprise reporting, analytics, and operational data consumers.
Partner with engineering, product, operations, supply chain, finance, and business leaders to translate business needs into scalable architecture decisions.
Drive simplification by reducing one-off solutions and increasing reuse of patterns.
Design for scale across multiple factories, product lines, and evolving operating models while preserving governance.
