Job summary

Navitas Business Consulting is looking for an Enterprise Solution Architect in Washington, DC. You will lead architecture across applications, cloud, infrastructure, and integration, design secure, scalable, and highly available solutions, and produce standards, roadmaps, and governance practices to guide delivery.

Candidates should have 15+ years in enterprise/solution architecture, 8+ years in large‑scale design, and hold or pursue TOGAF, Azure, AWS certs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Engineering.
• 15+ years of enterprise/solution architecture experience.
• 8+ years designing enterprise solutions for large organizations.
• Experience with cloud-based, hybrid, and on-prem environments.
• Strong understanding of security, APIs, DevSecOps, and data integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise solution architecture for apps, cloud, infrastructure, and enterprise integration initiatives.
• Design secure, scalable, highly available, and resilient enterprise technology solutions.
• Develop enterprise architecture standards, technical roadmaps, and solution blueprints.
• Lead cloud adoption, application modernization, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Design integration strategies utilizing APIs, middleware, and enterprise messaging technologies.
• Provide architectural guidance across Oracle, Microsoft, GIS, enterprise applications, and cloud platforms.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enterprise solutions supporting DC Water’s objectives.
• Conduct architecture reviews, technical assessments, and design governance activities.
• Collaborate with project managers, technical leads, and business stakeholders throughout project delivery.
• Ensure enterprise solutions comply with cybersecurity, governance, and technology standards.
