Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to join our Corporate Business Technology team. This role designs, governs, and continuously improves the firm’s enterprise application architecture, aligned with a Microsoft-centric, cloud-first IT strategy.

This position involves defining standards, roadmaps, governance, and reusable patterns; collaborating with stakeholders on Azure, M365, Power Platform, Copilot, and ServiceNow APM to improve efficiency, integration, and architectural

Qualifications

• 6 years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Working knowledge of TOGAF or similar enterprise architecture framework.
• Deep understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem (Azure, Microsoft 365, Copilot).

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise architecture blueprints across business, application, data, and technology domains.
• Design integration patterns across enterprise systems using Microsoft Azure services such as API Management and Logic Apps.
• Define reference architectures, reusable solution patterns, and architecture guardrails that support secure, scalable delivery.
• Document and maintain architecture standards, roadmaps, and solution patterns within ServiceNow EA/APM or similar tools.
• Support architecture governance processes, including architecture review boards and solution approvals.
• Partner with delivery teams and stakeholders as a trusted architecture advisor, identifying risks and integration challenges.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of enterprise architecture practices and alignment with target-state roadmaps.
• Perform other duties as required.
