Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Senior Enterprise Architect to join our Corporate Business Technology team. This role is responsible for designing, governing, and continuously improving the firm’s enterprise application architecture in alignment with our Microsoft-centric, cloud-first IT strategy.

This individual will work with business and technology stakeholders to support enterprise applications across Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot, and ServiceNow APM/EA.

Qualifications

• 6 years of related experience in enterprise/technology architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent experience considered.
• Travel may be domestic and/or international as per project needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise architecture blueprints across business, data, and technology domains.
• Design integration patterns using Azure services and related cloud capabilities.
• Define reference architectures, reusable patterns, and guardrails for secure, scalable delivery.
• Document and maintain architecture standards and roadmaps in EA/APM tools.
• Support architecture governance processes including review boards and approvals.
• Partner with delivery teams as a trusted architecture advisor on risks and dependencies.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of enterprise architecture practices.
