Job Description: Enterprise Architect

SAIC is seeking a highly motivated and tactical Enterprise Architect to coordinate change management processes across a large government contract within the CIO Office. This role involves coordinating enterprise architecture activities, programmatic meetings, and data management, including change control, artifacts, meetings, and timelines. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, operate independently with limited supervision, and establish effective working relationships with management, technical staff, peers, and external clients.

Responsibilities

1. Provide enterprise architecture (EA) expertise in design, creation, and representation for the CIO organization.
2. Define and develop EA processes for the CIO organization.
3. Collaborate with customers, management, and other stakeholders.
4. Manage and track all EA changes using online tracking systems and coordinate with relevant parties.
5. Ensure all necessary artifacts for project delivery are created, maintained, and accurate.
6. Report on EA progress and status, ensuring timely delivery.
7. Coordinate problem resolution, task scheduling, resource requirements, and task clarifications across the organization.
8. Facilitate meetings, distribute minutes, create action items, and ensure their completion.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance is required.
• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years, Master's with 6+ years, or PhD with 4+ years of related experience.
• Over 14 years of professional experience.
• 3-5 years’ experience within an IC Agency.
• Proven experience in Enterprise Architecture.
• Strong written communication skills for independent composition and editing.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating tact, patience, and courtesy.
• Proficiency with standard office software and EA tools (e.g., MagicDraw, Cameo, Rhapsody, System Architect).
• Experience in organizing and leading meetings.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational skills.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, systems engineering, or computer science.
• Familiarity with federal EA programs.
• Certifications such as TOGAF, UAF, SABSA, or Zachman Framework.
