Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
7-15 years of experience in software development or enterprise applications.
Minimum 3 years of IT or software development management experience.
Experience with .NET, JavaScript, or similar languages.
Experience managing ERP applications, preferably JD Edwards.
Experience leading Agile software development (Scrum/Kanban).
Experience secure software development practices and collaboration with data science teams.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software developers, business systems analysts, product owners, and technical architects.
Oversee development, integration, and support of enterprise software, .NET apps, ERP systems, and other business applications.
Set objectives, performance expectations, and development plans for the team.
Manage departmental budgets, external resources, and technology investments.
Promote a customer-focused culture emphasizing accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Oversee JD Edwards ERP applications, integrations, and related apps.
Partner with manufacturing and business leaders to translate requirements into technology solutions.
Develop roadmaps and prioritize enhancements based on business value and needs.
Guide software architecture, modernization, and system integration.
Collaborate with data science teams on analytics and automation initiatives.
Direct software development and delivery using Agile (Scrum/Kanban).
Manage schedules, resources, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
Provide technical direction on complex programming and integration challenges.
Oversee SDLC practices, testing, deployment, and change management.
Advance automated testing, DevOps, and CI/CD capabilities.
Coordinate with vendors to meet quality, cost, and schedule goals.
Collaborate with leadership to align software with objectives and KPIs.
Develop dashboards and reporting for visibility into performance and progress.
Establish KPIs/OKRs and monitor software development value.
