WEKA in Campbell, CA is seeking a Technical Alliance Engineer with deep expertise in parallel file systems, storage technologies, AI workloads, and performance benchmarking to join our team. You will bridge engineering, product management, and marketing by demonstrating the value of our technology integrations through benchmarking, certification testing, and technical content creation for customers.

Competenze

• Strong understanding of parallel file systems (e.g., Lustre, IBM Spectrum Scale, WekaFS, BeeGFS, etc.).
• Expertise in storage benchmarking tools (e.g., FIO, IOzone, mdtest, IOR, Elbencho, SPECStorage, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure setup and configuration. Strong knowledge of NVMe storage and its role in HPC and AI/ML workloads.
• Solid grasp of AI/ML workflows and how they interact with storage architectures.
• Experience with NVIDIA GPU architectures, GPUDirect Storage (GDS), and Spectrum-X networking.
• Deep knowledge of file system internals, storage networking, and data management technologies.
• Experience in storage lab environments, setting up test environments, troubleshooting performance issues.
• Strong ability to create technical content and presentations for technical and business audiences.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
• Knowledge of virtualization and containerization; Kubernetes is a plus.

• Develop benchmarking methodologies to measure and showcase performance of parallel file system solutions.
• Hands-on work with NVMe storage, AI/ML workloads, and high-performance file systems to optimize performance.
• Leverage NVIDIA technologies including GPUDirect Storage (GDS), GPU architectures, Spectrum-X networking, and accelerator architectures.
• Create technical content such as whitepapers, blogs, presentations, and solution briefs.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback on features and performance tuning.
• Engage with customers and partners to deliver technical presentations, webinars, and hands-on workshops.
• Evaluate partner product features and replicate customer scenarios.
• Support field teams with deep technical insights for pre-sales engagements.
• Analyze market trends to refine messaging and competitive positioning.
