Job summary

STATE STREET CORPORATION seeks a senior technology leader to define and scale AI-enabled platforms across Corporate Functions globally. This VP III role leads architecture, governance, and engineering strategy for secure, observable, and scalable intelligent agents interacting with employees and enterprise systems.

You will drive cloud-native, multi-agent orchestration, and enterprise integration patterns while partnering across HR, Legal, Audit, Risk, and Compliance.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise technology, solution architecture, platform engineering, cloud architecture, or AI solution delivery.
• Proven experience designing and scaling enterprise platforms within large, global organizations.
• Deep expertise in AI-enabled architecture, agentic AI, enterprise automation, and intelligent workflow orchestration.
• Hands‑on experience designing and implementing multi‑agent architectures and AI orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with modern AI development frameworks such as: LangGraph, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, AutoGen.
• Strong knowledge of: Agent orchestration, Tool calling, Agent memory, Context management, Workflow execution, Reasoning and planning frameworks.
• Proven experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise applications through APIs, events, and service‑based architectures.
• Deep understanding of cloud‑native architecture and AWS platform capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, IAM, data protection, encryption, and enterprise governance requirements.
• Experience leading globally distributed engineering and architecture teams.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define the future-state AI platform architecture for Corporate Functions and establish reusable patterns.
• Scale AI capabilities across domains and geographies with cloud-native patterns.
• Guide enterprise integration and agent-to-agent connectivity across systems like Workday, ServiceNow, and Microsoft 365.
• Ensure security, governance, and responsible AI across all deployments.
• Lead architecture reviews and mentor engineering teams to ensure production readiness.
• Partner with stakeholders to influence technology strategy and investment decisions.
• Translate complex concepts into actionable business recommendations for executives.
