Job summary

STATE STREET CORPORATION is seeking a strategic VP to design and deliver a enterprise Generative AI platform. You will own Bedrock, Foundry, and Databricks architectures, codify golden paths, and mentor senior engineers to ship AI at scale.

The role emphasizes cross-cloud governance, secure-by-default workflows, and cost-aware operations, with a focus on enabling data scientists and application teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in platform/cloud/SRE engineering.
• 5+ years hands-on AWS and Azure with Bedrock/OpenAI/Databricks.
• 3+ years in technical leadership or people management.

Responsibilities

• Own Bedrock platform strategy and governance across regions and accounts.
• Lead Azure Foundry and OpenAI patterns, capacity planning and content filters.
• Steer Databricks strategy including Unity Catalog and Delta Lake.
• Author secure-by-default golden paths and multi-cloud infra.
• Own Harness pipelines, templates, and GitOps integration.
• Build vendor-agnostic developer tooling and observability.
