Job summary

Wellmark, Inc. in Iowa is looking for a Business Initiatives Consultant in Technology and Data (open to Senior level) to drive enterprise AI priorities into coordinated execution and measurable business value.

You will partner with executive leaders, business stakeholders, and technology teams to establish governance, roadmaps, and adoption frameworks, ensuring alignment with risk, investments and architecture standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or direct and applicable work experience.
• 5+ years of progressive project experience with medium to high complexity and enterprise-wide initiatives.
• Proven Business, Strategic Planning and Project Management experience.
• Ability to develop initiative plans and roadmaps with interdependencies.
• Demonstrates ownership and ability to achieve objectives across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical designs for highly integrated, complex platforms to optimize security and performance.
• Consult with Architects and project teams to document design deliverables for platforms.
• Oversee planning, development, and estimation of technical solutions with other teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on process improvements and architecture alignment.
• Provide governance guidance on IT policies, security, and infrastructure.
• Build strong business relationships to align designs with business needs.
