Job summary

ALSAC is seeking an Enterprise AI Architect to define and evolve enterprise architecture standards for AI, Agentic AI, and AI-enabled applications. You will partner with technology and business teams to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable AI solutions.

The role guides architectural tradeoffs, develops reusable patterns, and advocates best practices while aligning AI investments with ALSAC's long-term technology strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in enterprise/solution architecture, systems integration, or related tech disciplines.
• Experience designing and implementing AI, Generative AI, ML, or intelligent automation.
• Experience developing architecture standards, reference architectures, and governance practices.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, integration, security, and modern software patterns.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• 5+ years of leadership, team lead, or architecture influence experience.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise architecture standards, reference architectures, and implementation patterns for AI, agentic AI, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Partner with EA, Engineering, Data, Security, and business teams to evaluate AI use cases and provide guidance on architectural tradeoffs.
• Design and maintain reusable architecture patterns for AI gateways, MCP integrations, agent orchestration, and AI platform services.
• Establish guidance for AI security, identity management, governance, compliance, and policy enforcement.
• Support AI-DLC practices through architecture reviews, standards, and reference implementations.
• Define architectural approaches for AI evaluation, observability, and cost management.
• Develop reference implementations and proof-of-concept solutions to accelerate production deployment.
• Ensure AI solutions align with enterprise standards, roadmaps, and long-term objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and validate requirements impacting ALSAC's tech environment.
