Job summary

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital - ALSAC is seeking an Enterprise AI Architect to define and evolve enterprise AI architecture standards, patterns, and governance.

You will partner with Architecture, Engineering, Data, Security, and business teams to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable AI solutions aligned with ALSAC’s technology strategy. The role requires 10+ years in architecture, strong AI/ML experience, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in enterprise/solution architecture or related tech disciplines.
• Experience designing and implementing AI, Generative AI, ML, or intelligent automation solutions.
• Experience developing architecture standards, reference architectures, and governance practices.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, integration, security, and modern software patterns.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• 5+ years of leadership, team lead, or architecture influence experience.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise architecture standards and reference architectures for AI and AI-enabled solutions.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Engineering, Data, Security, and business teams to evaluate AI use cases and guide architectural tradeoffs.
• Design reusable architecture patterns for AI gateways, MCP integrations, agent orchestration, and AI platform services.
• Provide architectural guidance for AI security, identity, authorization, governance, and compliance.
• Support AI-DLC adoption through architecture reviews, standards, and reference implementations.
• Define approaches for AI evaluation, observability, monitoring, and cost management.
• Develop reference implementations and proofs-of-concept to accelerate production-grade AI deployments.
• Ensure AI and technology solutions align with enterprise standards and roadmaps.
• Gather and validate requirements impacting ALSAC's enterprise technology environment.
