Job summary

ALSAC is seeking an Enterprise AI Architect to define and evolve enterprise AI architecture standards, ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable AI-enabled applications. You will partner with Architecture, Engineering, Data, and Security teams to guide model selection, agent design, and cost considerations while aligning with long-term technology strategies.

The role supports hybrid work near Memphis, TN or Coppell, TX, with possible remote arrangements for highly qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise/solution architecture or related technology disciplines.
• Experience designing and implementing AI, Generative AI, ML, or intelligent automation solutions.
• Experience developing architecture standards, reference architectures, and governance practices.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, application integration, enterprise security, and modern software architecture patterns.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• 5+ years of leadership, team lead, or architecture influence experience.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise architecture standards, reference architectures, and implementation patterns for AI, Agentic AI, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Engineering, Data, Security, and business teams to evaluate AI use cases and provide guidance.
• Design and maintain reusable architecture patterns for AI gateways, MCP integrations, agent orchestration, and AI platform services.
• Establish architectural guidance for AI security, identity management, governance, and compliance.
• Support adoption of AI development lifecycle practices through architecture reviews and guidance.
• Define approaches for AI evaluation, observability, monitoring, and cost management.
• Develop reference implementations and proof-of-concept solutions to accelerate production deployment.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise standards and long-term roadmaps.
