Job summary

ALSAC/St. Jude Children's Research Hospital seeks an Enterprise AI Architect to define and evolve AI architecture standards, reference patterns, and governance across AI-enabled solutions.

You will partner with Enterprise Architecture, Engineering, Data, Security, and business teams to guide AI implementations from concept to production, focusing on scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in enterprise or solution architecture, systems integration, or software engineering.
• Experience designing AI, Generative AI, ML, or intelligent automation solutions.
• Experience developing architecture standards, reference architectures, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise architecture standards and reference architectures for AI and AI-enabled solutions.
• Partner with EA, Engineering, Data, Security, and business teams to evaluate AI use cases and guide architectural tradeoffs.
• Design reusable architecture patterns for AI gateways, MCP integrations, agent orchestration, and AI platforms.
• Provide guidance on AI security, identity, governance, and compliance.
• Support AI-DLC adoption through reviews, standards, and reference implementations.
• Develop approaches for AI evaluation, observability, and cost management.
