Job summary

V R Della Infotech Inc is seeking an Engineering Technician 4 to support the Manufacturing engineering team with troubleshooting, testing, repairs, and maintenance. The role emphasizes failure analysis, first pass yield, and MRB review to ensure high product quality.

Responsibilities include conducting tests, developing fixtures, documenting activities, and triaging production issues. Strong collaboration with production techs and engineers is essential.

Qualifications

• AS degree, trade school, military technical training or equivalent.
• A minimum of five years of troubleshooting experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Agile, and SAP or equivalent tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist or execute engineering level tests and collect data to support design of experiment activities or characterize an assembly.
• Assist with parts order, build, and modification of development fixtures for evaluation.
• Document all activities to keep records.
• Manage time and resources in accordance with project.
• Perform other engineering technician duties as needed.
• Follow Production escalation process and provide engineering evaluation of any interruptions to production line.
• Perform quick triage of the issue and recommend best course of action to keep production moving.
• Perform simple reworks on the spot (cable crimping, solder components, tap threads, clean optics, adjust alignments etc.).
• Document all activities during escalation support in formal records.
• Order parts and assemble/bring up duplicate fixtures for production.
