Job summary

DGN Technologies in Sunnyvale is seeking a Sr. Engineering Technician to support the Manufacturing engineering team with troubleshooting, testing, repairs, equipment maintenance and development support, including Failure Analysis, First Pass yield, and MRB review.

The role requires strong problem-solving, teamwork and the ability to document activities and manage time/resources across projects to keep production on track. Five years of related experience and relevant education are needed.

Qualifications

• As degree or equivalent with 5+ years troubleshooting experience.
• Experience supporting a system engineering group in a product development environment.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and drawings.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist or execute engineering level tests and collect data for DOE activities.
• Assist with parts orders and build evaluation fixtures.
• Document activities to maintain formal records.
• Manage time and resources per project requirements.
• Provide engineering evaluation of interruptions to production lines.
• Order parts and assemble duplicate fixtures for production.
