Qualifications

• 3-5 years related experience.
• Ability to consult and advise teams for decision-making.
• Advanced ability to navigate complex test requirements from design teams.
• Demonstrated competence in track scheduling.
• Skilled in using standard electrical and mechanical measuring instruments.
• Foundational product knowledge relevant to Stanley Black & Decker's portfolio.
• Skill in 2D/3D CAD, diagnostics, and electrical/mechanical design.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on concept development, prototyping, product testing, and data collection.
• Perform tests, prepare and analyze test results and provide guidance to the product development team.
• Work closely with manufacturing and suppliers to deliver solutions that are manufacturable and cost effective.
• Investigate design issues and test failures and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain appropriate documentation for work performed.
• Provide technical tests, analyze results, and give actionable design advice.
• Monitor engineering data against targets, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
• Stay abreast of new technical/process advancements and support adoption across the organization.
• Provide technical consultation to engineering support teams and stakeholders.
