Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions (CGS) is seeking an Engineering Technician IV to perform non-routine, complex assignments, planning and conducting projects of limited scope. You will select design approaches, analyze technical data, and coordinate with related activities to resolve problems.

Supervision outlines objectives and design approaches, and completed work is reviewed for technical adequacy. The role requires ability to travel, maintain records, and develop engineering documents.

Qualifications

• Must be a US citizen
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret clearance
• Completion of USCG or DOD technical A School or 5 years practical experience supporting USCG/DOD communication and navigation systems

Responsibilities

• Analyze technical data and select design layouts; prepare layouts, specs, and parts lists.
• Plan tests to evaluate equipment performance and analyze results.
• Perform repairs, maintenance, and installation of electronic equipment.
• Develop and review engineering documents and drawings; provide corrections.
• Maintain records and files of work and revisions.
