Job summary
A local government agency in Moorhead, MN is seeking an Engineering Tech or Senior Engineering Tech to assist in civil engineering projects. The candidate will be responsible for design and inspection of construction projects, developing environmental compliance reports, and working with landowners on right-of-way acquisitions. An Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology and relevant experience is required. This is a full-time on-site role that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or certification in Civil Engineering Technology or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience for Engineering Tech, 5-8 years for Senior Engineering Tech.
- Successful completion of a background investigation required.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and inspection of civil engineering construction projects.
- Develop environmental reports for MN/DOT compliance.
- Prepare documents and work with landowners for right-of-way acquisition.
- Inspect county and township projects with the bridge safety inspector.
- Develop reports documenting construction activity.
