Job summary

Jobtailor in the United States is seeking an expert Senior Engineering Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruiting for mechanical, electrical, structural, and automation roles. You will partner with engineering leadership to define roles, requirements, and success metrics, while building sophisticated sourcing strategies and passive pipelines.

You will negotiate multi-component offers, conduct technical screenings, and provide market insights across Phoenix, Buffalo, and national hubs.

Qualifications

7+ years of technical recruiting experience focused on engineering and manufacturing roles.
Proven experience recruiting Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Automation, or Advanced Manufacturing Engineers.
Advanced expertise with LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and talent mapping.
Experience sourcing through patents, research publications, and conferences.
Ability to negotiate complex, multi-component compensation packages.
Strong understanding of engineering design, NPI environments, and manufacturing ops.
Recruiting in manufacturing, industrial automation, AEC, or energy sectors.
Strong analytical skills to interpret labor market data.
Ability to operate independently and influence senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead full-cycle recruitment for senior and specialized engineering roles across multiple disciplines.
Partner with Engineering Directors to define role scope, requirements, and success criteria.
Develop advanced sourcing using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean strings, and talent mapping.
Source through patents, publications, conferences, and engineering associations.
Build multi-quarter talent maps identifying competitors and skill trends.
Develop passive pipelines across manufacturing, AEC, industrial automation, and energy systems.
Conduct high-level technical screening for design experience and manufacturing alignment.
Structure complex offers with base, bonus, 401(k) match, relocation, and incentives.
Provide compensation benchmarking insights for major engineering markets.
Lead offer negotiations with senior engineers and managers.
Build CRM campaigns and long-term engagement for niche pools.
Deliver market intelligence on hiring trends and skill demand evolution.
Optimize ATS workflows and recruitment analytics to improve velocity and quality.
Support workforce planning and long-range engineering hiring strategies.
