Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) seeks an experienced senior engineering leader to manage the delivery of short- and long-term technical solutions across engineering, operations, and staff development. This role oversees leaders with multiple scrum teams across several products within a product line and collaborates with IT Product Line Leaders to align engineering work with the Product Roadmap.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
7+ years information technology experience.
3 years management or leadership experience including leading software engineering projects.
Experience managing the engineering skill sets required by specific product/technology stacks across multiple teams.
Experience in SDLC Methodology - Agile / Scrum / Iterative Development from requirements through deployment.
Excellent oral & written communication skills with a proven ability to frame technical issues in business terms.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering delivery for one or more product lines and manage multiple scrum teams.
Oversee leaders with responsibility for delivering across engineering, operations, and staff development.
Collaborate with IT Product Line Leaders to align work with the Product Roadmap.
Drive resource planning and forecasting and manage vendor relationships as needed.
Contribute to strategic IT initiatives of medium to high complexity in a matrixed organization.
