Job summary

Diageo Plainfield Plant is seeking an Engineering Projects Manager to lead the development, execution, and delivery of capital projects within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. You will coordinate with maintenance, operations, quality, safety, finance, and procurement to deliver on time and within budget.

You will manage a team of 3 controls engineers and provide dotted‑line guidance to instrumentation and controls engineers, with accountability for asset care, capital expenditure

Qualifications

• 10 years minimum project engineering/management or similar experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple work streams while delivering to target dates.
• Strong leadership and management background.
• Knowledge of MS Project and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with capital expenditure planning.
• Knowledge of Allen-Bradley ladder logic programming.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver plant capital projects and ensure compliance with execution guidelines.
• Lead reliability projects across packaging lines.
• Lead processing area projects and deliver on time.
• Provide guidance to Production Team Leads and maintenance coordinators.
• Develop training plans with maintenance to build control-system expertise.
• Support production and maintenance on issues affecting lines and address training gaps.
• Verify all projects meet Safety, Quality, Environment and Food Safety requirements.
