Job summary

A&D Technology in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex engineering projects from order through customer acceptance. You will coordinate across customers, engineering, sales, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, profitably, on schedule, and aligned with technical requirements.

The ideal candidate has a technical engineering background, strong communication and project leadership skills, and experience in electronics

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with >=5 years in test facility engineering design or a Master’s with related PM experience.
• Strong foundation in electrical/mechanical engineering concepts, data acquisition, electronics, instrumentation, and test system design.
• Experience managing complex projects with customers, internal teams, vendors, schedule constraints, budgets and deliverables.
• Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and follow-through skills.
• Self-motivated, accountable, and able to own project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple engineering/test system integration projects from sale to customer acceptance.
• Serve as primary customer contact for scope, specifications, schedule, budget and change management.
• Build and maintain project plans, WBS, schedules, resource needs, material requirements, and labor plans.
• Monitor performance, costs, gross margin, risks, milestones, and deliverables with weekly status reports.
• Coordinate with engineering, sales, purchasing, production, vendors, and subcontractors to keep projects moving.
• Support proposals by defining milestones and developing material and labor estimates.
