Job summary

Kiewit Power Engineering has an opportunity for an Engineering Project Manager within the Engineering & Consulting Services group. The role spans renewables, carbon capture, and other power facilities, with exposure to design and construction leadership across North America.

Lead internal design teams, manage budgets and schedules, and drive safe, cost-efficient, and innovative engineering solutions while maintaining strong client communications and adherence to Kiewit's procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of project management experience.
• Ability to mentor technical staff and foster a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Overall management of the internal project design team(s).
• Facilitates effective communication between design and construction project leadership.
• Ensures proper coordination of technical details across multiple engineering disciplines.
• Supports Business Development activities including RFP reviews, proposals, project estimates, engineering fee estimates, etc.
• Resolves conflicts that arise through partnering with design team, clients, and construction.
• Ensures meeting project engineering schedules and budgets.
