Job summary

Matrix Service Company seeks a Project Manager to direct multiple engineering projects of moderate risk and complexity. You will guide PMs, assess scope, resources, and client opportunities across regions including Tulsa.

The role requires strong PM, financial and leadership skills, with preference for PMI certification and a proven track record in on-time, on-budget project delivery.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree in Mechanical, Civil or Industrial Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent + 10 years exp if no degree.
• 8+ years in project management with P&L; supervisory experience preferred.
• PMI project management certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction, design, finance and PM processes.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication; strong negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct multiple engineering projects with cross-discipline scope.
• Develop new business opportunities for client groups or geographies.
• Plan, organize and staff key project positions with department heads.
• Oversee project performance against design, budget and schedule.
• Provide technical guidance on drawings and construction methods; issue change orders.
• Ensure profitable project execution and timely billings/collections.
