Job summary

Kiewit Industrial & Water Engineering seeks an Engineering Project Manager to lead multi-discipline projects from Pre-FEED through FEED and EPC phases. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and client relationships, directing a diverse engineering team in a matrix environment.

Based in Lenexa, KS or Lone Tree, CO with up to 25% travel, the role offers flexible work options and a competitive base compensation plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, process, or electrical engineering.
• 10+ years in increasingly challenging positions, preferably in an engineering organization.
• 5+ years’ engineering-related design or management within industrial markets.

Responsibilities

• Direct the development and oversee the project execution plan, including deliverables, schedule, budget, manpower, and quality management.
• Schedule and lead project team meetings; coordinate client billings with the management team.
• Monitor progress and expenditures; manage change notices and reporting to management.
• Develop and execute communications plans; lead the project design team in a matrix environment.
• Lead development of scope for pre-FEED to FEED or FEED to EPC; pursue new opportunities.
