Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Project Manager to lead moderately complex engineering projects from scope to delivery, on time and within budget, with minimal supervision. You will coordinate disciplines, manage client relations, control change notices, and drive cost, schedule, and quality performance through established project controls.

A Bachelor or Master of Science in engineering and PMP are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Civil Engineering preferred.
• Professional Engineering registration and/or PMP preferred.
• This position requires up to 10 years of relevant experience in engineering and project management.

Responsibilities

• Generally responsible for performing all aspects of project management for moderately complex engineering project assignments.
• Manage commercial contracts, ensure timely invoices, process project change notices, and review monthly earnings.
• Track budget, schedule, and quality; use project controls tools to maintain discipline and deliverables.
• Lead major technical, cost, and scheduling decisions; align scope with client requirements and stakeholders.
• Define project scope and goals with client teams; manage change notices and maintain positive client relations.
• Build a productive team, coordinate resources, and conduct weekly team coordination meetings.
• Provide timely reporting, review vendor submittals, and ensure documentation compliance.
• Maintain adherence to standard project work processes through all project phases.
