Job summary

MaxLinear seeks a Senior Manager or Director of RF/Mixed-Signal Design to lead a team across Irvine and Carlsbad, driving the development of IPs for 200G and 400G data center SERDES applications, including DSPs, drivers, and TIAs. You will work with senior technical leads on design choices and guide the team through coaching, staffing, and career growth.

You will own execution from concept through tape-out and production release, setting standards for quality, manufacturability, and design

• Proven record of growing engineering teams, including hiring senior talent.
• Strong communication and executive presentation skills with customer-facing experience.
• Senior Manager: BS in Electrical Engineering or related + 11 years, or MS + 9 years, or PhD + 6 years; Director: BS + 13 years, or MS + 11 years, or PhD + 8 years.

Compensation And Benefits

MaxLinear has a Total Compensation philosophy which includes base salary and annual discretionary bonus eligibility and many positions also include stock-based compensation.

MaxLinear's good faith estimate starting base salary range for Senior Manager is: $ 222,000 to $ 272,000 Annually

MaxLinear's good faith estimate starting base salary range for Director is: $ 195,000 to $259 ,000 Annually
