Job summary

CAGE Engineering seeks a Senior Engineering Project Manager for land development in the Fort Myers area. You will coordinate, guide, and supervise all team efforts, handling production documents, client management, internal dynamics, and project finances.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the role emphasizes staff development, aligning strengths to project needs, and proactive obstacle resolution to deliver profitable, on-time projects.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering from an accredited university.
• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred, but not required.
• Demonstrated track record of success as a project engineer with a strong technical background.
• Established strong relationships with both clients and internal team members.
• Proficient in project design & coordination.
• Skillful in task delegation, allowing for efficient management focus.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all team activities including production documents, client management, and project financials.
• Increase overall effectiveness of the team by developing staff, aligning individual team member strengths, and identifying potential obstacles.
• Negotiate strong contracts and clearly define project scope within proposals.
• Make critical decisions to ensure projects maintain schedule and scope.
• Reinforce the CAGE Brand Promises and drive all aspects of projects to provide superior customer service.
• Delegate project tasks to team members with clear direction on deliverables and deadlines.
